A fantastic read and much needed advice for this generation of student athletes who are living in this social media driven world. It's great to see such tangible advice and I hope this quickly becomes required reading for all student athletes in high school and even college!
It is hard to fathom what kids nowadays are faced with with regard to social media. What is worse, is one mistake can have a negative impact that can alter a young persons life. This book is a great guide to help aspiring athletes realize not only how to avoid mistakes on social media, but also how to use it to their advantage. I know I'll be reviewing this again and again.
Those of us who are from an older generation can only imagine what it's like to grow up in a social media world. The kids of today have more options for social media than I had TV channels! This book is a valuable, sobering look at the challenges faced by young people, especially young athletes whose gifts place them in the spotlight. I myself know of a wonderful young athlete for whom one moment of emotion after a game resulted in the loss of a captaincy. Thank you Pat Hade!
